Earn Your MSAT

Welcome to the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program. The MSAT program is designed to provide students who have obtained a Bachelor's Degree, the opportunity to earn a Master of Science in Athletic Training degree and the eligibility to sit for the Board of Certification Exam. The program requires two full years, including summers, for completion and includes clinical experience and classroom education.

CAATE Accreditation Statement

Chadron State college is currently seeking accreditation for their new athletic training program and is not accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). The institution will be submitting a self study to begin the accreditation process in July, 2025. Submission of the self-study and completion of an site review does not guarantee that the program will become accredited. Students who graduate from the program prior to accreditation WILL NOT be eligible to sit for the credentialing examination for athletic trainers and will not be eligible for licensure in most states.
